The Australian HEMP Party advises that members should number their ballot paper ‘below the line’ and so take control of their own preferences. – ..Full story..Sex Party preferences come from high rollers Obama is livid. You won’t see it on the news and he is rarely upset, but he was furious at the Dillard for stubbing the hempsters and their big joint out of the Aussie election. He needs allies in his war against the war on drugs. At first he told everyone to cancel the trip Down Unda, later relenting as he realised she didn’t know, and perhaps it was his duty to fix that. Well, who else now? ..Full story..CRAP and the terror of an Unda overdose In 2008, police departments in California made more than 60,000 marijuana possession arrests, three times as many as in 1990. The people arrested are disproportionately African Americans1 and Latinos, overwhelmingly young people, especially young men. . ..Full story..Targeting Blacks for Marijuana In the middle of all this the Tourism Authority releases its annual popularity poll and it seems that those forms you fill out as you are leaving the country has the Opera House as the most visited site in Oz, closely followed by a WKNTA (Well Known Nimbin Tourist Attraction.) The figures were buried of course with the MBK catatonic about never ever letting hippies get positive media. ..Full story..Compulsive Risk Assessment Psychosis In the year 2000 I started to work for Marc Emery and we both formed the British Columbia Marijuana Party. From there we did quite a few other projects which were of course funded by Marc Emery’s Emery Direct Seed Business which I actually ran for a period of time up until 2005 when the U.S. Government and the DEA came up to Canada. They decided to arrest Marc, myself and another fellow by the name Greg Williams. They charged us with three different counts one was conspiracy, the other was money laundering and another charge of manufacturing. ..Full story..Michelle Rainey talks It was a good excuse for a holiday because I really was very very sick. Someone suggested a quick rest on a beach at a Thai resort and I landed in Bangkok just as the rioting began. Thin and weak no wonder I was mistaken for a junkie. Prohibition has decimated generations and criminalized millions for a behavior which is entwined in human existence, and for what other purpose than to uphold the defunct and corrupt thinking of a minority of misguided, self-righteous Neo-Puritans and degenerate demagogues who wish nothing but unadulterated destruction on the rest of us. Based on the unalterable proviso that drug use is essentially an unstoppable and ongoing human behavior which has been with us since the dawn of time, any serious reading on the subject of past attempts at any form of drug prohibition would point most normal thinking people in the direction of sensible regulation. By its very nature prohibition cannot fail but create a vast increase in criminal activity, and rather than preventing society from descending into anarchy, it actually fosters an anarchic business model – the international Drug Trade. Any decisions concerning quality, quantity, distribution and availability are then left in the hands of unregulated, anonymous, ruthless drug dealers, who are interested only in the huge profits involved. Many of us have now finally wised up to the fact that the best avenue towards realistically dealing with drug use and addiction is through proper regulation, which is what we already do with alcohol & tobacco –two of our most dangerous mood altering substances. But for those of you whose ignorant and irrational minds traverse a fantasy plane of existence, you will no doubt remain sorely upset with any type of solution that does not seem to lead to the absurd and unattainable utopia of a drug free society. There is an irrefutable connection between drug prohibition and the crime, corruption, disease and death it causes. If you are not capable of understanding this connection, then maybe you’re using something far stronger than the rest of us. Anybody ‘halfway bright’ and who’s not psychologically challenged, should be capable of understanding, that it is not simply the demand for drugs that creates the mayhem; it is our refusal to allow legal businesses to meet that demand. No amount of money, police powers, weaponry, diminution of rights and liberties, wishful thinking or pseudo-science will make our streets safer; only an end to prohibition can do that. How much longer are you willing to foolishly risk your own survival by continuing to ignore the obvious, historically confirmed solution? If you still support the kool aid mass suicide cult of prohibition, and erroneously believe that you can win a war without logic and practical solutions, then prepare yourself for even more death, corruption, terrorism, sickness, imprisonment, unemployment, foreclosed homes, and the complete loss of the rule of law and the Bill of Rights. “A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.” Abraham Lincoln The only thing prohibition successfully does is prohibit regulation & taxation while turning even our schools and prisons into black markets for drugs. Regulation would mean the opposite! ..Full story..Prohibition Sucks Prohibition is a sickening horror and the ocean of incompetence, corruption and human wreckage it has left in its wake is almost endless. The big whinge from the Feds however was the new performance based policing. We all agree it’s a world gone mad on bureaucratic regulations. Control freak nerds behind desks hold the power now instead of the frontline warriors. It’s a massive power shift in Copperworld. Most of the nice old cops, the ones I liked, have got smaller pay packets now while the workaholic hunters new on the track are grabbing all the bonuses. There are hundreds of overseas trips (wife included) up for grabs for anyone scoring over 1000 points in a calendar month. A Well Known Nimbin Tourist Deterrent is about to visit Europe for the third time in twelve months, all on bonus points. It’s like frequent fliers. Station perk funding as well as individual bonuses all now depend on performance and how do you measure that? ..Full story..UNDACUVA JOURNAL I ask you to take into consideration the huge benefits to health care that medical cannabis can provide. I also ask that consideration be given to the prohibition which imposes a huge burden on our country. It has been clearly shown in other countries that the removal of prohibition does not lead to an increase in drug use. Alcohol and tobacco are serious drugs and are controlled by regulation; this type of regulation should be applied to all drugs thus providing better control and revenue instead of a huge expense. The police would be free to do a job that would be more beneficial to society. ..Full story..A Message to Canberra Page 1 of 612345»...Last » | |
